Fifteen very talented actors, including some newcomers to the Maleny stage, will bring to life a suite of three one-act plays by Andrew Wallace, who is also the director. While diverse in subject and style, each of the plays relates in some way to the theme of home—hence the overall title ‘Home Truths’. The plays provide fresh and thoughtful perspectives on aspects of contemporary Australian life through three interwoven stories that reflect our times. Offering a mix of discontent, resilience, and humour. Audiences can expect an engaging theatre experience with quite a few surprises.
